Need to print a fax in memory, machine was turned off and unplugged

It may be too late to print the faxes if your printer was unplugged. But you can try:

reprint the faxes in memory

Your HP OfficeJet can store a limited number of fax pages in its memory, with

the number of pages depending on the model you purchased. When your

HP OfficeJet runs out of memory to store faxes, it will not receive any more fax

calls until the stored faxes are printed.

Reprint Faxes in Memory enables you to reprint a fax stored in memory. For

example, if your print cartridge runs out of ink or paper becomes jammed when

printing a fax. This option prints all faxes in memory; press Cancel to stop

printing faxes you do not need.

1 Press Menu.

2 Press 2, then press 3.

This selects the Fax Functions menu, then selects the Reprint Faxes in
Memory
option. The faxes are printed from memory.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it and give a testimonial for my response

Thanks, Joe

Can I reprint a fax that I just received?

If you want to reprint a fax because the print cartridge was empty or if the fax was printed on the wrong type of media, you can try to reprint it. The amount of memory that is available determines the actual number of faxes that are stored for reprinting. ... These faxes are stored continuously.
here's how if you have this accessibility..
Press "Setup" on the control panel of your fax machine. Most fax machines will have an LED display panel on the front of the machine. The panel will usually include on screen prompts and help options. Some fax machines signal the user if they have faxes stored in memory and prompt the user to "print faxes" or "clear memory," but you need to make sure that you don't accidentally clear the memory or you will lose all saved faxes.
Use the arrow keys or number pad as directed by screen prompts to select "Fax Setup Menu" and then press the "OK" or "Start" key.
Enter the security code, PIN, or user authorization code if required. The security code or PIN protects sensitive information and prevents unauthorized use of the fax machine memory. If you haven't set it up you don't have it.
Navigate to "Receive" or "Print Faxes in Memory" and then press the "OK" or "Start" key as directed by the on-screen prompt. The last fax stored in the machine's memory should begin to print.
Repeat the above steps for each fax in memory if you need a different one.
Hope this helps and isn't clear as mud!
Happy new year.

HP officejet 5610 all in one printer

You can download the manual from HP's website here.

You will need to configure the Fax machine to either auto answer or manually answer it to receive faxes. Generally Faxes are printed as they are received. If you have enabled Backup Fax mode the printer will store up to eight of the last faxes in memory, where they may be recovered by pressing Setup, then 6, then 5, then Reprint Faxes Stored in Memory.

Be aware that turning off the printer will clear all the faxes that are stored in the memoory.

HP Officejet v40 - Can send faxes but can't receive

I think you like to setup it for auto FAX. In any case go to setting menu and set as auto and then set after 5 or 6 rings (or as you wish). You can also do the same if you have the utility software that come along with this Officejet model.
