DEIX2 not heating Fisher & Paykel

I move it back a few inches and it quit heating

I only moved it 2-3 inches. I can see that the air is going through the hose just fine because it is moving around. I don't think that is the problems. any other ideas?

When you moved it back you crimped the vent hose / pull dryer back out from wall and make sure it is curled with no kinks as you slide it back into place and it will be fine.

the hose should not be moving around so with dryer running go outside and check the outlet and see if air is coming out strong, if not clear vent hose from wall to outside ,,,,,, the air is trying to get out but not.

The model of my Fisher Paykel dryer is DEIX2 and it runs but doesn't get hot. It's four years old. Would it be cheaper to replace than repair? Thanks.

Hi,

If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heating the most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glows sometimes it is still not working properly.

Fisher Paykel Dryer is taking 3 hours to dry(DeIX2)

Check your cvent going outside. also check to see if the vent is smashed. try using the time dry cycle and see how your clothes turn out. if they are still wet or damp. you have a heating problem. try those solutions.

Fisher and paykel dryer

The Fisher and Paykel people suggest a reset.

The safest way is from your fuse box.
  • Find the the circuit breaker for your dryer and flip it off.
  • Wait 15 seconds and flip it back on.
  • Go back to your dryer and hit the power button.
  • It should be back to normal
If this doesn't fix your problem, let me know. I've got a contact now.

Hope this helps
