Just unplug it and let it sit for half an hour. Then try playing the lens cleaner disc, the problem would be fixed....

DVD/VHS recorder/player stopped working, screen says NO READ. Where do I get it fixed in Palm Coast,Fl? Model DMR-EZ48V

First, try another disk/tape whichever you are getting the message from. It is usually caused by a dirty disk/tape head or a dirty disk or tape. Second, try using a head cleaner. Available almost anywhere including Walmart! The DVD and the VHS heads should be cleaned after every 10 hours of use.

I hope this helps.

No read on my 2008 panasonic dvd recorder DMR-EZ485V

Insert a lens cleaning disc into it and let it play. If this do not help you, the optical pickup unit to your playder is faulty, and should be replaced.
