Question about ASUS A7V8X-X (90-M7A690-W0EAY) Motherboard
I have installed a new ASrock P4i65G motherboard but cannot read from cdroms or hard drive even though the boot priority has been set in the bios. I can boot from floppy disk and format the hard drive with Win98 setup disk but cannot read the cdrom drive
Thanking you in advance for any help or suggestions
Try changing the IDE cable which connects your CDROM to motherboard. Also make sure that Master/slave configuration are properly set if both the hard disk and the cdrom are connected with a single cable
