Hi, go into your firewall program and look for a blocked programs folder and remove or untick the download manager program. Can you elaborate more on what your download manager is called and what firewall you are using? eg are you using Zonealarm as your firewall or are you using a Microsoft program? Are you using Free Download manager or something else? Regards, Steve
Is your firewall blocking blocking the website? If your are using any antivirus program bundled with "internet security" probably the firewall is blocking the java site. You have to make exclusion in the fiewall setting for the "http" site.
seems like your Firewall setting is blocking YM from downloading the installation file from Yahoo!. Are you using a third party firewall program, or just Windows Firewall? in both cases, you may have to turn off the firewall prior to installing ym. Dont forget to turn it back on after installation
Turn off Windows XP firewall or click "allow" in the window and retry.
It's a window telling you that Windows firewall have noticed that CS1.6 is trying to connect to the internet and it asks if you want to allow it or not. When you press "keep blocking" you tell your firewall to stop CS1.6 from using internet.
You can't play online without using the net, right? :)
ok, this is an easy fix, just go into device manager and unistall the wireless card, dissable AVG firewall and activate microsoft's firewall. Then Download CCleaner and clean the registry, you can download it from here: http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/
when you have cleaned the registry restart the pc, it should now detect the wireless card and install the drivers for it, it will show this in the system tray (bottom righthand side where the time is) This should resolve the problem for you post back if you still have problems
If you are running ActiveSync 4.0 or later and personal firewall software on your personal computer, please add ActiveSync to the firewall program’s exception list.
(Firewall software, such as Sygate Personal Firewall, TrendMicro PC-cillin Internet Security 2005, Norton Personal Firewall, McAfee Personal Firewall, or Zone Alarm Security Suite may block synchronization.) Refer to the documentation that came with your firewall program to determine how to add ActiveSync 4.0 or later to the program’s exception list. To further troubleshoot a firewall application and enable ActiveSync 4.0 or later
