Click Run
Type "CMD"
Hit Enter - A black screen should now appear (this function can be achieved by selecting Start---->Programes---->Accessories---->Command Prompt)
Type "diskpart"
Wait untill you get "DISKPART>" then type in "select volume (blank)" fill in the blank with the letter of the drive you are trying to remove write protection from
Now type "attributes volume clear readonly"

Remember select correct letter otherwise u will loose data of other drive..

Hi, i have a problem in my flash.when i sent data in the flash and then open in another computer then the data not fun and ask for repair when i repair the repairing is not completed.like movies alwayes...

when you remove the flash drive you need to do an eject and wait until the system tells you that it is safe to remove it. Pulling the flash drive off the usb port without doing this can cause data corruption thus the errors you are encountering.
One solution is to empty all of the contents of your flash drive into a hard drive, format the flash drive, and then check its size. You should be able to use it normally.
Hopefully you did not get a "fake" Kingston 4GB flash drive that were being sold on Ebay for really low prices.
Good luck.

I`ve just formated usb memory disk and lost all drivers

1. Download this tool:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4040651/LLFTOOL.EXE

2. Format

(WARNING: After running this low level format tool,
the whole USB flash disk surface will be fully erased.
Therefore, data restoration will be impossible after using this utility!)

Files in my kingston pendrive does not open up

Hi manoj_clc,

The "other PC" needs to have the same application installed that created the files. It sounds likely that is the problem for the other PC. If the files are failing to open using the PC that originally copied the files, then try formatting the USB drive (formatting deletes all data). Before you copy the file again, make sure the same file opens from your computer prior to copying it. Now copy the file to it the USB drive again.
