Question about HP LaserJet 2430n Printer
When I print the print is faded on left handside. is it a faulty toner?
I've seen this lots of times with these printers and it usually has one of two causes.
1 the toner settled at one end of the cartridge - take it out turn it iver a few times then re-install.
2 The cartridge just not quite seated in the printer correctly - take it out, and put it back in, making sure that it is fully 'home' at both sides.
The other possibility is a faulty drum unit, but this is far less likely.

Tips for a great answer:
? Press continue button to clear message and continue processing job.
? Remove the toner cartridge. Gently shake the toner cartridge from side to side and front to back several times to redistribute the toner, and reinsert it. Repeat this procedure multiple times. If the print remains faded, replace the toner cartridge.
