Re: my audio on a phonics 620 soundmixer is not working
I have Phonic 620 and ran into similar problem few times. When it turned on a blue LED is lit but there is no sound output to speakers. In my case it was a fuse issue. On the back side there is aluminum heat sink. Open it slowly, be carefull since there are many wires connected to that board. There will be 2 fuses toward bottom of the board. Both are 1A 250v. Just replace burned one.
Hope it helped.

Hello, First, check the bridge switch located on the rear of the amplifier, should be on STEREO position, GROUND switch to GROUNDED position, check front potentiometer for dirt or scratchy sound as turned it up or down, if none of this solve your issue then could be an internal defective speaker output relay, or channel fuses, let me know if you need further assistance, Regards.
The problem is in the audio circuitry, there are bad solder joints on the board that need to be addressed, from your description it is a intermittent issue with the sound. Since this a high end unit I recommend a top audio technician to work on your amplifier, and I suggest not using the system until it is repaired because the risk to the audio output parts getting damaged is high and they are pricey.
