Question about LG VX-8700 Cellular Phone
My phone dies without warning.
What's strange is, if I have two bars left and I top it off with a charge, the next time I turn the phone on it won't start up. Whereas, if I let the battery drain completely then charge, I have a better chance of the battery holding its charge.
My first assumption was that it was the battery. I replaced it, then a little over a week later, I started having the same problem again.
How can I determine whether it's the phone or the batteries?
I had the same problem with mine... I found that you must let the battery completely drain out; I was continuously jumping to charge my phone when it was down to one bar, and realized that upon doing this, the battery never fully retains its charge for as long as it will if you let it die out (blank screen; completely off).
I did this twice, and have not had a problem since.
Hope that helps!
