The non functioning of the camera can be a fault in the shutter, zoom or auto focus sections and may be due to the failure of the Main control system or the drive. A simple was is to reset and we can try by removing the battery and card for some time. Now replace only the battery and while switching power ON, tap the lens hood on the palm of your hands so as to disengage any dirt or mechanism being struck. Use some air to blow between the lens to dislodge any sand particles struck inside. Unless you are familiar with handling ofsmall devices must the camera be opened. If so check the voltage on the motor drive, check the auto focus and Zoom drives, it must be free with manual movement. If jammed the motor can be removed and released. If none of these works then you can think of taking consensus with the service centre. Get estimate before you decide. It will be good to have it checked at the authorised service as you do not have to run around for spares.
take the back off including the battery then just push in with your finger on the little metal plate around the two lens with a good amount of pressure, and put back the battery and turn it on, it will work :)
Try and restoring your iphone whit itunes and updating the software if any new versions available, if you are still having problem whit your camera that will mean that your camera is faulty for cheap camera replacement check www.E-Repairs.co.uk
I had the same problem. I discovered the answer. From my experiences, it seems to happen when I zoom in. Then it stops taking pictures (Capture button does not work) I sent my phone in to get fixed, and they said they replaced something, but i tried zoom again, it stopped working. So i was like wtf.
Anyways, how to solve this problem is to set your camera on the resolution / quality that DOES NOT allow zooming. After that has been completed, turn the phone off. Then back on and it will work.
I hope it may be a ' lens error'.if it means u can try this at once..
Fix #1: Remove the batteries from the camera, wait a few
minutes. Put a fresh set of batteries back in (preferably rechargeable
NiMH 2500mah or better) and turn the camera on.
Fix #2: Remove the batteries, then remove the memory
card. Then install the new batteries, when you turn it on it should
come back to life. Error E30 means you don't have a memory card
installed, so turn it off, slip in the memory card and turn it on one
try to open the top flip there are four screw covers around your display then take them out whit a little pin then take the screws out whit the t5 screw driver after that hold the caller id down whit your left hand and pull up the top flip whit ur rigth hand or u can use a thiny plastic around the top flip to take it out after u take it out u will see two flex cables on the top one is the end of the camera and the other is the end of the flex cable. pull the flex cable up and desconect it clean the flex cable connector whit alcohol or just blow it then put it back a little hard till u heard the click then try to clean the camera connector there is a little brown plastic on the top of the camera connector pull it up and open it like a door after u clean it put it back and close it then put the side keys back if they were moved then the top flip, screws, and screw covers.
