Question about Motorola Mobility MOTOROKR S9 + Bluetooth D650 Stereo Adapter for iPod Headset

1 Answer

Cannot increase volume on my Motorola S 9 stereo headset.

Paired well with my Samsung mobile. Was working quite satisfactorily. Streaming music. Now the sound level is very low. When pressing the + for increasing volume, there is no response/sound in the earphones. However when pressing the - to reduce the volume there is a sound, a pip of acknowledgement. Other systems are working well ie 'pause', etc forward/back.
Feel problem may be with the switch.... ?

I can't adjust the volume control on my headset either. Was working fine up until a few days ago. Am connecting to Ipod and blackberry. Would be interestd in hearing if anyone has been able to solve this issue.

    - button changes the song now. + button does nothing. Happend before but started working again two weeks later. Happened after using while sweating a little. Can barely hear sound. Not good.

The S9 pairs well with my Dell laptop. The volume of the streaming music is just way too low. I tried every setting on the computer, iTunes and the s9 to no avail. Other audio devices play fine.

The problem is that the unit is not immune to sweat as Motorola claims it is. Mine did the same thing with trying to lower the volume. You might try to dry it out good with a hair dryer (but don't get it too hot). That might help for a while, but eventually it will short out again and you won't be able to fix it. Sony just came out with a unit that is similar and I am going to dump the Motorola for the Sony to see if it works better.

The sound is low when playing music and volume is up on iPhone and headset

Start playing and then increase volume. When you are on a different screen, volume increase or decrease doesn't apply to iTunes.

How do I pair my nokia 3109c mobile phone with my motorola h720 bluetooth headset - it just keeps saying "failed" when I try.

Hi Sue Clay,

Please use the following link to access to the user manual of your H720: http://bit.ly/1DyhSmE, on page 5 you can find how to pair the device, if the "failed" message continues, use the instructions on page 13 to reset the device.

Volume will not increase only have extremely low volume

Ensure sound on headset and on phone are increased. Some phones allow you to control volume on headset so setting to low on one while high on the other may offer poor experience.

My volume is to low regardless of adjustments. Is there another way to increase volume?

Adjust volume both on phone and headset. Sometimes the phone limits headset controls.

My backbeat is paired and working with my sprint evo. but the music will not play at all through the headset? calls are fine but no stereo music . it was working fine before i got a jawbone and paired it...

I wonder if Adroid has some issues with its A2DP stack. You see, I have 3 different stereo headsets paired with my WM6.1 phone, and all of them (one at a time, of course) stream music without any flaws.
Anyway, you could try to delete the Backbeat from the list of paired devices on your phone, and, then, pair them again.
Just my 2 cents...
Hope you are able to sort your problems out soon.

Cant listen to music on my Blackberry Pearl using HT820

RIM has a new OS for the 8100 pearl (OS 4.3). This OS supports A2DP streaming which is necessary for listening to music with bluetooth headphones. The OS is out in beta version now and supposedly available on bit torrent. I hear that AT&T will release the OS for their phones in April or May.
