Question about Microsoft Windows XP Professional
I have a Windows password recovery CD that I purchased but I still cannot retrieve the lost password. What options are available to me?
Try this way
To get into the Windows 2000 / XP Safe mode, as the computer is booting press and hold your "F8 Key" which should bring up the "Windows Advanced Options Menu" as shown below. Use your arrow key to move to "Safe Mode" and press your Enter key.
Note: With some computers if you press and hold a key as the computer is booting you will get a stuck key message. If this occurs, instead of pressing and holding the "F8 key", tap the "F8 key" continuously until you get the startup menu.
select safe mode.
Login to administrator .
if you are able to login then try to remove your user password this way
go to control panel > user account > select your user account and click on remove password.
i thins it'll help you.

You can search for a password boot disk which will disable the administrator password. There are dozens of these types of programs but one program I recommend is windows password reset 6.0
Follow the instructions:
1.Free download the iso file : http://www.resetwindowspassword.com
2.Burn it to a disk to create the boot disk, that simple.
3.Configure your pc or laptop to boot in the cd drive,
4.Insert the CD, reboot from CD drive, and then just follow the process of instruction. A few steps later, admin password would be cleared
Took about 5 minutes for the whole process.

So, I recommend you to take use of another reliable way. I myself have used Windows Password Unlocker and it is absolutely effective and easy to use.
With following steps, you can reset your password easily.
1. Login to a computer that can link to Internet. Download Windows Password Unlocker 4.0 and decompress it on that PC. Note that: there is a .ISO file. Burn the .ISO file to a CD.
2 Get out the newly created CD and insert it to the locked computer.
3 re-booted the locked computer and then followed the process of instructions. Just a few steps, the old password was removed.'''
4 Setting new password:
Step one: Open the "Control Panel"
Step two: Click the "User Account "
Step three: Select the account you wanna to set a new password.
Step four: Click "changing Account " and "set up password", then fill out the form as listed. Click "Create Password".
Thus, you have a personal login ID and Password, any one has no right to login to your computer with out this info.

Let me know how many accounts on your system?
If there is no other account on your system, you can use some password changer software as Hiren's BootCD 8.9 which can be downloaded from http://www.rapidshares.com .
Otherwise, If you have another account on your system, first, login with this another account and change your account as a administrator account.Second , go to CMD prompts and type as follows
1. NET USER (PRESS ENTER)
You will see all the account on your system and then, choose the name of old administrator account, example your old administrator name is John. Make as the following!
2. NET USER John * (PRESS ENTER)
IF YOU SEE THESE:-
type the password for the user: (make enter only)
Retype the password to confirm: (make enter only)
NOW , YOU CAN REBOOT AND LOGIN YOUR ADMIN ACCOUNT WITH PASSWORDLESS!
Remark: NO NEED TO TYPE THE PASSWARD FOR ABOVE.
IT WILL WORK ON WIN XP!!!!!!
