if the green pin is what plugs into your computer, a traditional, headphone 1/8th inch headphone jack, it can be replaced, however there is some soldering involved. Radio shack sells the replaceable ends for just a couple dollars. the only problem is knowing which wires to connect to which points on the new end. i would have to see the wire with the insulation stripped off to be able to tell you which are which
I have a logitech z3 subwoofer with a mini-DIN-9 connector socket. It also has a volume control and 110V power cord. As best as i could trace the circuit, and using the TDA7377 stereo bridge amplifier chip datasheet, the pinout for the mini-DIN is as follows (untested): 1: L in (to vol.) 2: R in (to vol.) 3: Power (12V from transformer) 4: Standby (5V to play, 0.05mA; 0V to standby) 5: L out 6: R out 7: Ground 8: Ground 9: Ground
Connecting 3 to 4 with a large resistance (~20K ohms) should enable speaker. Pins 1 and 2 might be swapped; pins 5 and 8 might be swapped. Mini-DIN socket pin holes are numbered right to left, bottom row to top row: 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1
I would suggest plugging your speakers into another outlet first to be sure that your speakers are the problem. I would then suggest to check and see if you can remove the power cord, which I would assume is universal and can bought at many retailers, and install a new one.
If the switch was the problem, this situation becomes more technical. You most likely would have to buy a new plug. There are electronics retailers such as Jameco and Newark. We're not talking about places like Best Buy and Walmart here. Jameco and Newark sell plugs that you would have to solder on to the wire. The plugs should be real cheap. If you know how to solder, all you would need to do is solder the wires on to the plug.

nothing is wrong with the woofer the connect is broken at the strain relief and the cable needs to be replaced. You can replace the connector if you know the pinouts. You will need the connector and the schematic. you may be able to find the pin outs configuration here. http://pinouts.ru/ As for the connector this may take a search online.
if connector is broken, you need to buy a new connector, but it takes a little handwork and some tools a screw driver some electric iron and solder.
u need to open subwoofer case and check for the connector is soldered in a board is 2 jack 3,5mm female connector and one red mini-DIN connector. replace the connector take a attention on soldering the connector, dont damage the board wires and pins, if the iron above 300ºC.
take a special attention on electrostatic discharge, normaly burns sensitive boards.
I would advise against a direct solder inside the unit. I would go and purchase a replacement connector from a Radio Shack or other electronics parts store. Solder wires to this, then plug in, should fix problem.
