Question about Neumann U 89 i Professional Microphone
WHEN PLUGGED INTO MIXING BOARD U87 SOUNDS VERY FAINT
Your mixing board may not be supplying 48 volt phantom power, which is required by the U89. Check with a voltmeter from pin 2 of the XLR to pin 1, see that it's 48 +/- 4 volts.
