Question about D-Link AirPlus Xtreme G DI-624 Wireless Router (DI624RE)

My D-Link AirPlus Xtrame G is dead

My DI-624 suddenly gave up. It was vorking fine and after I realized my POWER and STATUS lights are off and the WAN and all Local Network light are on. It doesn't go through any signal. If I connect the modem directly to my PC I have internett, so actually I get signal.
Please advise. I hope don't need to by a new modem.

    My Status does not light up. The power and WAN lights work. If I plug directly into my computer I do get access to the internet. Can anyone help solve this. Or do I need a new one.

Your power adapter may be dead, check the power connector with a multimeter to see if you have the correct voltage as per the label on the adapter. If not you may only need to buy a power adapter.
You may be able to borrow another adapter with the same voltage and current rating and plug it into your D-Link and if you get a POWER and STATUS lights it proves you have a dead power adapter. If you don't get any lights then it looks like your D-Link is dead.

Constantly Blinking WAN light


the wan should always be blinking

Di-624 status light flashes steadily & no output to pc's connected


I would suggest you to reset the router once. Hopefully that should help.. If the lights continue to blink, you might have a dead router.

Router will not work wirelessly


Reset your router via the recessed reset button on the back, this should reset your router back to factory default settings.

Login to the router and reconfigure as needed.

hold the reset button for 10 seconds then let it sit till the lights stop flashing. then you'll be able to log into the router w/ the default user/password which I believe is admin/password. the ip should be reset to 192.168.1.1 so type http://192.168.1.1 in your browser to log in.

Lights are solid green: WAN, local network 1,2,3,4


If that is status of the lights on your router there's a big possibility that its already bad and needs a replacement, but you can first try to reset it and check if that will correct the problem
, To reset the router just press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds while the power is ON then after that check if the lights are back to normal if still the same light router is already bad...

DI-624 problem with wireless network


Buy the N router! That is the only solution. My signal weakened and went from the whole home to less than two feet if that at times. I bought the N router and it worked just like the G one did when I first bought it. Ya think somebodies got the limited life span worked out?

WAN settings


The WAN settings should be configured by Verizon personnel only. If you reset the VDI-604 or VDI-624 to factory defaults, you will need to contact Verizon to reconfigure your WAN settings.
