Im trying to go onlne on my psp but it says push and hold the aoss i cant find it can u help me

HI...

You are referring to the automatic wifi setup option?

The AOSS button will be on your wireless router, IF your wireless router supports this method of setup.

If it doesn't then you have to input the settings manually.
Just follow the prompts on your PSP after you choose manual setup.

Got lead to connect psp to pc to download music to psp thought would work automaticly but i go usb mode on psp but cant link them help please

Hi deanocar,

Based onyour concern, I suggest trying the following steps: 1. Before you plug it in make sure the PSPis in USB connect mode. --> Alsomake sure the Memory Stick PRO Duo has been formatted for PSP. If it's not thisis how you do it: On themain menu, scroll all the way left to the "Settings" menu. Thenselect "System Settings." Then scroll to "Format MemoryStick" and press X. 2. Connect the PSP to your PC with a USBcable. 3.Press the "home" button on the PSP --> atthe lower left of the screen you can see the home button. 4. Use the left-right directional buttons tofind "Settings", then the up-down buttons to find "USBConnection" on the PSP. 5. Press the "X" button, your PSPshould display "USB Connection". 6. Please wait until your computer tells youthat a new USB device has been connected, then show you a new generic harddrive, usually E: or F: 7. Click on the drive letter thatcorresponds to the PSP unit. Hope ithelps, Thank youfor using FixYa.

Where is the setup mode button on the psp

There's the HOME button on the left right by the analog. Pres this during a game to get to your options, or turn on the PSP without a game inside to be taken straight to it. Here you manage your online features, pictures, movies and music, your general PSP options and game data and all, plus themes. There's no actual ''mode'' though, unless some updates came out that I don't know about, which could be the case. :/

Help, I PSP stuck on initial setup screen "set time and date" i can change the value but cant press confirm button.

Your X button may be bad. The X button is the button that confirms these changes. If you press X and nothing happens, it may be broken.

Try removing the battery and putting it back in. If this does not help, chances are, your X button is no longer functional.

You can send the PSP back to Sony to have it fixed, they charge like $89 or you can send it to a company like the following which charges around $30 to fix something like that:

You can go online with the PSP system and browse the Internet. To start browsing the Internet
  1. Check your PSP system set up:
    • Infrastructure Mode
Make sure your PSP system is set up for Infrastructure mode.
See Setting up Infrastructure mode for details.

    • Internet Connection
Make sure you have an internet connection and your PSP is within range of the wireless access point (or hotspot).
PSP®online connectivity requires internet service and network devices, suchas a DSL or cable modem and a wireless router - for example, a Wi-Fihotspot at a café or a wireless local area network (WLAN) in your home.

    • System Software
Make sure you've got the latest System Software.
Requires PSP system software version of 2.0 or higher. Visit PSP System Software Update to download and install the most recent version.

    • WLAN switch
Make sure the WLAN switch on the left side of the PSP system is turned on so that the PSP system can connect to the internet.

  2. In the XMB™ home menu select icn_network.gif (Network) > icn_www.gif (Internet Browser) and press the icn_btnx_color.gif button.

  3. Use the up and down buttons to select the address bar and then press the icn_btnx_color.gif button to display the on-screen keyboard.

  4. Enter the address for the web page you want to display, select Enter and then press the icn_btnx_color.gif button.
For more information, see Using the On-screen Keyboard.

  5. Select a connection and press the icn_btnx_color.gif button.

  6. The web page is displayed.

  7. To hide the on-screen menu, press the icn_btntriangle_color.gif button.

To close the Internet connection:
  1. With a web page on the screen, press the icn_btncircle_color.gif button.

  2. Select Yes and press the icn_btnx_color.gif button.

  3. The internet browser will close.

If you have issues connecting to the Internet, you may wish to troubleshoot your Infrastructure mode connection.
