Question about Apple (MA662G/A) pour iPod Headphones
After using them in my macbook for a while the sound in the left headphone disappeared.... down to nothing..... tried it with my ipod, same thing. no sound in the left earbud. these are only one day old? the strange thing is i bought them to replace the old headphones that had the same problem. could my mac have broken just 1 ear bud, but leave the other one working fine?

SOURCE: Ipod and headphone problem
Same thing happened to me....makes me wanna throw my iPod out the window.
I have no ways of fixes it, but I do have ways u can listen out of both ears temporarily
Ok so you can push ur finger on the base of the headphones (The part where it is closest to the iPod) and as long as ur pushing (depends on which side, just try push on all sides while listen to music) it plays out of both ears
another way is to pull the base halfway out of the iPod it sucks if ur walking or if the iPods in ur pocket and it falls out easy but this gives better quality sound (except that its a bit quieter than the first way)
I hope i kinda helped

I actually had the exact same problem with my ipod touch. It's actually not a problem with the headphones but with the headphone jack on the ipod. For a while i "solved" this problem by wrapping my headphone wires twice around my ipod [so it was tight and the sound could be heard, the same way u do it by pushing it with ur finger]. Well one day my ipod jack just fixed itself, I got lucky. But my advice to you is to send it into apple like my friend who had the same problem did, they sent him a new one [hopefully u have a warrenty!]
hope that helped!!..thank you!!..

one of the connections in your ipod is broken/bent. there is no good way to fix this youself. contact apple or go to your nearest apple store to have them fix it
