I HAVE INSTALLED DOWNLOAD AT LEAST IT SAYS IT IS INSTALLED. BUT IT STILL DOESNTPRINT. IT ALSO SAYS MY INK IS LOW . I JUST INSTALLED 2 NEW INKS.THIS IS ANEW UNIT AND WE HAVE BARELY GOT TO USE IT. I WILL NOT BUY ANOTHER LEXMARK PRINTER

Do you have the model of lexmark printer ? You need to make sure y ou install the correct driver for the correct OS. try to search you model in below link, it might be helpful for you to get the correct driver...

Why won't my printer print black with all new cartridges?


Remove all inks, then the printhead & sit the printhead on a soft cloth soaked in warm water - let it sit for a few minutes then reinstall, close lid then make the machine ask for the inks once the inks have then been installed it should prime the machine. If this does not work try it again & if that fails then your printhead probably needs to be replaced.

Hi Good day!!! try this trick ^_^ open the cover of your printer to see the print head, now turn off your printer you will see your print head is moving when it moves to the center pull out the power cord of your printer ( this trick is about good timing) if success the print head is now in the center now remove the ink cartridge (note don't installed the new cartridge yet) now turn back on you printer without the cartridges, your printer will recognize that the cartridges are missing, ^_^ and finally your printer will find the your inks after that insert it according to its location.

Inks won't work.


You have probably purchased refilled cartridges, try to replace with genuine ink cartridges will solve out your problem.

Do I NEED 2 ink cartridges on the Lexmark 2500. Never use the color ink. Installed new black cartridge, did the alignment and now printer won't let me print. Help


Yes you do need 2.
All ink cartridge bays has to be filled with a working cartridge, for the print driver to allow you to print. That is why I prefer single ink type printers, so it is not so expensive to maintain the inks you don't use.

Hi. Printer isn't working, paper comes out blank.


Most likely the printhead is clogged. Another possibility is that the cleaning station does not work. 3 ways the printhead can clog,

1. Using Generic Ink
2. Not using the printer for a long time
3. Print a large print job after the ink indicator says the inks are running low.

You are better off replacing the unit than trying to get the printhead unclogged. Cost is usually around $40 and is only a 65% chance it willwork.

My printer won't print even though I put in new ink cartridges.


Remove both inks. Remove tray ink sets in turn upside down. There is probably a build up of ink, this will give a false indicator of low ink. Clean with a damp clean cloth. Replace tray and inks. Do this often to avoid the build up. Worked great for me.

Installed new ink cartridge/ still saying low color


try calling 1 800 421 6699 for US.
solution
try to remove inks, then reseat it..
then remove printhead, by pushing the latch on the upper right, then put it back in. be sure that it will snap. close the door with no inks. try to look at the message, if it has the same error, put the inks on it and close the door again.. then if you still have the error message, call the hotline no. and I'm Afraid that you need a Printhead replacement or defective ink issue...
they will replace it for free..

Epson r1800 both light flashing


try taking out the inks you have installed make sure that you hear a click on each of the inks when you install them. If the issue persists the printer may not recognizing the inks you have installed.

No cartridge found error


One or more ink carts aredodgy, fit gen new brother inks (x4)

On inks carts there is a flag inside them that normally floats, when it sits down due to ink level being low it blocks a photocell to stop machine from working, it needs to do this to stop any air getting in ink lines, so inks may appear to have ink in them but will not work, on some refill/aftermarket carts flag gets stuck
