If the red light is the protect LED, the amp probably has shorted output transistors. To eliminate other possible causes, read through the following page:

the main control board is fried from what you've described, you will need to dismantle it and remove the board (there will likely be visible signs of damage if there was a burning smell) relatively easy and cheap to replace

Sir try to check the fuse in the power supply may be damage. Remove the back cover of your unit but be sure to unplug the unit from the main ac outlet. Then look for the fuse, if the fuse is defective, before replacing it observe if the fuse is totally burned if you see this sign don't just replace the fuse it indicates that it has a shorted parts in the power supply common parts are the regulator and bridge type rectifier, but if the fuse is just broken or still you can see the wire you can replace it and try to check if the unit will power up. Good day and best regards.

No power. Fuses ok. Power transformer ok. Screw came out of circuit board, but no visible damage.

If a screw was bouncing around in the case it could have shorted something causing damage...

Make sure the power adapter is the EXACT one that is used for the unit.

Check the circuit traces from the power connector under a bright light. A short can sometimes "fuse" narrow traces burning them open just like a fuse.

If you haven't done so, check the power adapter with a meter to verify the voltage.

No power on right hand side burners

WHEN THE SURFACE SWITCHES ARE IN A ROW ON THE CONSOLE, THEY ARE USUALLY WIRED IN PARALLEL FOR THE INPUT VOLTAGES(RED AND BLACK WIRES ATTACHED TO EACH OTHER). IF THERE IS A BURN OUT OF ONE OF THE WIRES, IT WILL AFFECT THE OTHER SWITCH INPUTS DOWN THE LINE.
TAKE OFF THE BACK PANEL OF THE CONSOLE AFTER UNPLUGGING IT AND CHECK FOR VISIBLE SIGNS OF WIRES BURNT. REPAIR OR REPLACE IF NEEDED. SOMETIMES, THEY WILL DAMAGE THE TERMINAL OF THE SWITCH THEY ARE ATTACHED TO. IF THIS IS THE CASE, THE SWITCH WILL ALSO HAVE TO BE REPLACED.
