    Model no. is definitely SX68C7 on plate on back of TV. It was purchased 1995 in Australia.

    RE previous advice: remote control does not have button called "set". Most buttons have picture symbols on them! Remotew turns set on/off, and changes channels, but channels are not locally tuned.

Turn on your TV.
On your Tune In remote, press TV and release.
Press and hold Set until the green light on Tune In blinks once, pauses and then blinks twice. Now release the Set key.
Enter the first three-digit TV code for your Sharp from the list which follows:
093, 165, 039
These codes are listed in order of popularity, and the green light will blink twice if you perform this procedure correctly.
Aim Tune In at your TV and press Power. Your TV should turn off. If it does not, repeat steps 2-5, trying each code listed in step 4 until you find the one that operates your TV.
::Now Test Your TV::
Why test? Many times more than one code appears to work. Testing is desirable to be sure you have the correct code for your TV or the other devices you are setting up.
Press the Power key to turn on the TV, then press mute, channel scan ("CH") and volume ("VOL") keys. Tune channels 7 and 11 by entering the number followed by the Enter key.
If your TV does not pass the test, return to Step 2 at the top of this page. Enter the next three-digit code and repeat the process.

Digital TV Stations

The term digital in this case is the mechanism used to tune in stations. Rather than making adjustments using a front dial to fine tune the stations, there are digital circuits that will lock in the station. The "digital" stations you are referring to now are the over-air digital broadcasts what use a different method for transfering the signals over the air. These stations now broadcast a digital stream of information rather than an analogue TV signal. If you are using an antenna for receiving these over-air broadcasts, you will require a converter.
