Question about Frigidaire FGQ332ES Gas Dryer

Frigidaire Gas Dryer not heating up. Other elements are all ok.

It seems like everything is working fine except that it does not geenrate heat. Motor and drum are running well including the switches. No lint in the machine at all. I would like also someone to instruct me how to open the dryer so I can replace the part. Thanks

Same problem but ignitor clicks, glows orange, clicks again and have flame that is hitting top of round enclosure it is housed in but dryer is still not heating and with fron panel back on I can hear the ignitor or something click every few minutes as theough the air through the enclosure I guess may be blowing flame out because it burns fine and doesnt reclick with front cover off watching it. An y Ideas? Frigidaire FSG447GHS0 dryer.

It sounds like your igniter is no good. At all costs, check the Fuse before anything else. It is usually accessed from the back of the unit.

My Blomberg 1330A stopped heating. Heating element seems fine, so now looking for the thermal switch...

Test the heating element with a meter for continuity with a meter.
After that follow the wires, one thermal fuse should be neer the heater element the other near the exhuast.

Dryer seems to work (runs, tumbler turns, timer works, air flows) except there is no heat. I see that there could be several reasons for this, how do I isolate the problem and fix it?

First look for reasons why safety components would trip and remedy them thangsthemobilian_1642.jpgthemobilian_1643.jpgthemobilian_1644.jpgthemobilian_1645.jpg
So once we have that ironed out we now have an idea where to look first. If the dryer is clean and the vent is clear and you still have no heat then one of your heating components have failed. The heating components are the element, coils, sensors, ignitors and controls.
themobilian_1646.jpgthemobilian_1647.jpg
So if the element is bad simply replace it and you now have heat but what if the element is ok?
themobilian_1648.jpgthemobilian_1649.jpgthemobilian_1650.jpgthemobilian_1651.jpgthemobilian_1652.jpgthemobilian_1653.jpgIf your ignitor and flame detector is fine you may have the very common problem of weak coils themobilian_1654.jpg
If it turns out thet your safetys are fine and your heating components are fine then you could have a bad controlthemobilian_1655.jpg
If your control is fine you could have a bad circuit breaker. The motor on American machines is 120 volt of alternating current but the 5000 watt heating element requires 240 volts.themobilian_1656.jpg

I have include a dozen or so Dryer service manuals and more HERE

Everything seems fine but will not heat up I checked continuity, on every thing and it seems fine and I did the more less more less and all codes came up fine took the heating element out and it seems fine...

First things first...Are you sure that you have 220 volts to the dryer? Just because the motor runs doesn't neccesarily mean you have the proper voltage. Also check the connections where the cord comes in to see if they are tight and intact.

Dryer will not heat

Have a certified electrician check your outlet. The dryer requires 220VAC for the heating elements to work. If this is ok, check the heating elements it may be broken. If this is ok, check the high and low limit switches, this could be defective.

There is no heat

Disconnect power and access your dryer fuses. Check and test your fuses for "continuity". Most likely, a white thermal fuse. Can possibly be your ignitor or heat element as well. Is your dryer gas or electric?

Dryer Heats on High all the time

I don't think it is the heating elements. You have checked out all the important stuff. Is there power coming from the controls on medium and low. It sounds like this is the problem.
