Look for a factory reset button (pinhole) near the power port. Use a paper clip or something to hold it in for about 10 seconds. That might recover it.

Hi, ADSL2+Wireless Modem Router was set up, it was good, but without the yellow cable, it was not connect to net why? Thanks, looking forward of your reply.

Because you need to match the security setting on the wireless router to sign on to the wireless portion of the modem. If you flip it over, you should see a sticker with WEP on it- write that down, view available wireless networks, and enter in the key from the sticker when prompted- at that point you should be able to use the wireless portion of the modem

ckeck the ip address of the main server then ping the ip address(eg ping 10.0.0.5) if reply comes then your comp is connected to the network if not then assign ip address of ur comp in the same class of the network and try.

My comp wont recive my wireless signal it started getting slower reception over like a two week period then nothing any idea. It's the network receiver in my main computer. Every other computer works.

If some other computers are working so the problem here is with the wireless adapter on that computer, the best thing that you can do here is to update the driver of the wireless adapter or you can also uninstall and reinstall it to correct the problem..........

Getting problem with wireless- G router.

HI
Did you reset your modem? Check if you connect your modem to the computer is the net still slow.
1.If not check the ip address typing in ipconfig in the command prompt
2.If you see 169.254.x.x. hard reset power cycle
3. Else type the default gateway address on the address bar to open your router set up page
4.See if the internet status says connected
5.On the left hand side under wireless you"ll see channel and ssid . Change channel to 6 or 11 which gives you the best signal strength. Click Rebbot
This should definately help.
6.If it still dosent work click dmz and put the ip address of your comp there .Click Rebbot
7.Ensure not to have any wireless devices near your router

Take care and do let me know

G router wont work through vista or satellite dish

hello!

-- who is your internet service provider
-- what is the operating system of your computer?
-- is this working fine before or is this a brand new router

you may try this and see if this help solve your problem. make sure your computer is directly connected to the router

Step 1: Shutdown the computer.
Step 2: reset the router while power on then Unplug the router’s power cable.
Step 3: Unplug the Broadband modem’s power cable and wait for 30 seconds.
Step 4: Plug in the Broadband modem’s power cable and wait for its lights to appear stable.
Step 5: Plug in the router's power cable once the modem’s lights appear stable.
Step 6: Power on the computer on and configure the router settings
Step 7: test the Internet connection.

if this still didnot work, upgrade the firmware of your router

note:

configuring the router settings will depends who is your provider. if your isp is dsl you need to configure your ISP username and password on the router. if your router is a cable no need to change any settings on the router. it should automatically work

if you are still having trouble configuring your device, try to call supportrix and use supportcall as your promo code for 1 free technical support.
