Question about Philips 50P8341 50" Rear Projection Television
I have a Philips Projection Screen TV Model PTV915 with Horizontal Alignment issues. (for some reason this forum system does not recognize the model)
The RED is not aligned and I do not know where the focusing controls are on this unit.
I opened the unit up and tried to work the RGB focus dials and I have focused them to appear sharp and clear but the I see 2 distinct lines of text each within the color space.
You can see The text frozen on the screen and a red layer of text floating just above it to make it appear as a red duplicate behind it.
How do I align them? I assume there must be some sort of control within the unit. I have already tried to use the RGB focus dials but it is does not align them.
Any help you can provide would be much appreciated.

Problem solved, needed to get the universal remote i was using set up with the proper code. Once I did that I was able to use the remote to set up the single & multi-zone Red & Blue Alignment. I also pulled the back plate off and manually adjusted the RGB focus knobs. It seems to be working just fine now.
Thanks to all the other posts.
