Could be the neutral switch try and crank it while moving the shifter around also try and put power to the small terminal on the starter that will tell you if the starter is bad or the wiring or switches

Ignition relay or fuse could be the problem. When you turn the key to start do you hear a fuel pump kicking on and or do you have spark when you hot wire the starter (I know it's hard to check while trying to start it)? You can email me back and I might be able to pinpoint it more.

Here is something that the emission wiz helped me with

PASS LOCK RESET GM CARS 1999 UP
1) Put the key in the ignition and turn to the "ON" position. Leave it that way for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes turn the key and take it out. Repeat this process (2) more times (3 times, 30 minutes total) This should reset the passlock system to recognize your key

Most likely your starter or the starter solenoid. (assuming your battery isn't just really low...)

Car won't start, seems to have power, all lights working. when I turn the key nothing happens. this only happens sometimes

Could be a bad alternator.. It may not be holding charge. Or your starter could have failed.

Though I've had the same problem and it was a dead battery in my vehicle. Had enough power, but to keep the car on..

Duplicated key wont start engine

Their is a computer chip imbedded into the original key. Take it to a real locksmith and most are able to make another coded key.
