Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
I have a 80gb PS3 and I have the latest firmware.
1 week ago I purchased the Hulk Bluray and a error apear on the screen. The video can´t be reproduced.
I turn off the main power and then the Bluray can be readed but each time I want to see the disc a have to do the same.
Also set the original setting but notting happen.
One more thing, I take the disc to the store and they put on a 40 gb PS3 and the disc run perfect. And in the menu screen you can see some animation on the back ground and on my PS3 i cant see it.
Do you know a solution for this?
Free some space in ur memory then play the disc

Is your hard drive almost full? Sometimes a full hard drive will not allow media files to be stored in order for playback.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

You can back up ANYTHING you wish to keep via the backup utility what I'm about to tell you to do will essentially erase your harddrive. After backing up any data you wish to keep, restore your PS3 system and to a FULL ( not quick ) format of your harddrive ( this will probably take a couple of hours ). After that, if it still doesn't work call SONY.
Hope that helps..........

You can review the "Important Notes"

If the issue persists
after installing the firmware update, it would have been with the disc. Check
the disc with another player; try different discs with same player.
If the Blu-ray Player is not at all playing any Blu-ray disc, then it may require service.
