How do I open attatchments on my email

Usually a double-click on the icon or hypertext link that represents the attachment, will either open it, or save it to your computer. The first one solves your problem, if it wants to save it, go ahead, and you can open it from the directory where it was saved.

I'm trying to send pictures from my computer folders via my email. What information do I need to make it work? So far it hasn't

Hello,
To send pictures in your yahoo email account you will have to do the following steps:
  • Log into your yahoo account
  • Click on "Compose Message" on the top left
  • Once the new message screen click on the tab that says "Attachments"
  • Once on the attachment tab select "Attach Files"
  • You will then have an option to browse your computer for the images you would like to attach.
Be sure to also fill our the "TO:" section of the email with the recipients email address before click the "Send button at the top left"
Best Regards, Ben

I write an email and want to attach a pic. I put the pic in the printer but where do I gofrom here?

I'm assuming it is a photo you wish to email? First you need to SCAN it into your computer where you will save it to a folder, remembering the folder name.

Then you open up the program you use for email and look for "attach file selection". In Outlook it is under INSERT, in other programs including webmail like gmail it will say something like "attatch file". Browse to where you saved the photo, and choose it.

Note that often just scanning a photo print can make a huge file size which may be too large for sending. Various email servers have limits on the size of email you can send.

There are other ways of getting a photo scanned and emailed often involving right clicking which pops up menus that say something like "email file". However how and where that is various from pc to pc depending on the printer and programs you have. The method above works for all types.

How to download a document to a email?

When you are in email, select attach, it is the paperclip icon.
In attatch mode if you know where the file is in your computer, you can select computer, then to the area you know where the file is.
Select the file, then click open or insert, and you will see the file is in your email selection below the area box that shows the email people you are sending too.

Problems with attachments once they open

Are you talking about attatchment from EMAIL?

Betcha you have a lot of email.. Force your email program to compress it's folders. Perhaps even Rebuild its folders.
If all fails, get a newer or at leasst fresh install of your email
program.
Try to find where it hides your mail first and make a copy, in case everything goes to heck.

Gluck.. (hmmmm I smell Eudora)
