Question about Car Audio & Video
I need the pinout wiring for a 1992 delco car radio model # 16179646 I ned the pinout delco car radio 6 disc changer model 2002

find a wiring harness for the car first it will fit onto the plug that comes on the car itself. then connect the bare wires on that plug to bare wires coming from the plug on the back of stereo (color coded)

Normally you red wire is the battery+. Black is ground-. Yellow should be battery backup which should go to your ignition. You wil then have either two sets or four sets of wires depending if its a 2 or 4 channel radio. For instance,Brown, and brown with a white stripe- White and white with a black stripe and so forth. these will be you speaker wires. In every instance you wire with the stripe will be your negative.

I have had the same problem with my Ford CD player, if you unhook the battery and let the entire system reset itself for approximately 10 min. or so and then rehook the battery and the CD that is stuck will either come out automatically or when you push eject. If you have not let the system off the battery long enough it does not work. Trust me I have had to do this more times than I can count.

I have a 2001 Boxster S. The CD unit, Porsche CDR 220, will not take a CD. Is there a fix for this? Any suggestions?
