I am getting javascript errors when I open web pages using my ps3

Your javascript errors have nothing to do with your router settings. Change the security settings on the ps3 to allow javascript. Also not all javascript will run on your ps3 browser.

What is the error message? Which OS are you using? Did you try to use the diagnose button on the error page? Sometimes it will detect what is the issue and give you the option to fix it such as resetting your network card. Can you connect to any other web pages at all? Use the F5 key to refresh the page and make sure they are updated.

I have two questions 1. How do I secure my n1 Belkin router? 2. My new laptop (Lenovo Think Pad T500) seems to have "issues" with the router. Internet video feeds are choppy and stall. Access to email...

Here is a link on how to secure your router:
To correct the email and video issue, you may need to change the MTU settings:

Adjust your wireless router settings
  • Lower the MTU (Maximum Transmission Unit) from 1500 to 1492 or less (usually found on your router's main/ basic setup page)
  • Adjust the following advanced wireless settings:
    • Lower the beacon interval from 100 to 50
    • Lower the fragmentation threshold from 2346 to 2306
    • Lower the RTS threshold from 2347 to 2304
This is the address where you change MTU

You can download the user manual from the previous link.

Click on this link or copy and paste the complete link into your browser.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

Scroll Issue

This is a very interesting problem.. Normally I would say the a router could not cause this kind of problem, but if the page is still loading, it could be possible.

When this happens, has the page finished loading all ready? The little circle of dots spinning in the top right of the browser if you are running firefox, will tell you if the page is still loading. There will be a similar icon for Internet Explorer too.

If the page has already loaded completely, then there is no way a router could cause the slow down. If you used the install CD that came with the router (no necessary by the way) then it could have loaded some "free" software on PC and this software is now slowing the browser down.

If you are using a windows computer, then do the following:
1. open a command prompt
Windows XP: Click Start Menu -> Run
At the run prompt type "command" (without quotes) and hit enter

2. On the command prompt window, type ipconfig

3. Write down the ip address of the default gateway
(this should be 192.168.1 or something similar)

4. Open up a web browser and type in the ip address from 3

5. You should see your router's web page

Well the only way you will get the main page for the router, would be to type in its ip address o its specific http address. Make sure that you are typing in your web pages Http address. i.e. rather than an ip address. You will need the domain address if you are hosting the website on your computer. typing in the ip will simply tell it to go to your router login page.
