Black background web pages

Step 1:
Web Pages That Do Not Display All Colors

Web pages that do not display all the appropriate colors have either a browser-related issue, monitor display problem, Windows comparability glitch or incorrect web pages Internet and HTML settings. More than likely, a setting dealing with your contrast ratio in Windows is the culprit. Once this issue is resolved, your web pages will display properly and accurately like they were designed to from the start.

Click on "Start" and navigate to the right pane and click on the "Control Panel." Click on "Ease of Access." Click on "Ease of Access Center." Click on "Set Up High Contrast" (one white and black box overlapping each other.) Check or uncheck "Turn on or off High Contrast when left ALT + left SHIFT + PRINT SCREEN." Click on "Apply" and close the Ease of Access Center. Press "ALT + left SHIFT + PRINT SCREEN" to turn on high contrast. Open your browser and go to a website to determine if color is restored to normal.

I am working my HP520 NTEBOK PC and having an issue with web pages not displaying correctly. for example the Yahoo homepage, loads differently than it does on any of my computer, most of the hot buttons...

Dear Sir,

It sounds like a problem with configuration of Internet Explorer. So in an Explorer go to tools>then click on Internet Options>then click on Advance Tab>Click on reset and restore advance settings>then clear the history, cookies, and also note that security or privacy level is set to medium.>then press Apply and OK.
I think it solves your problem. if it is not solves your problem download internet Explorer 8.it is a better choice. otherwise you may try mozilla firefox. I think it solves your problem,if any query regarding this issue leave a feedback,we will glad to assist you.

good luck

Only get 3/4 display screen on monitor

Your post is not very clear on the exact problem you are having. If your issue is that some web pages have large amounts of blank white space to the right or both left and right of the web page, then the issue is you have a high resolution LCD and the web page was written using page frames. (If this is the case, the web page is being displayed as designed and there is no fault to the system)

If that is not the issue, then post specific details as to what you are seeing and what you are doing when the issue occurs.

My HP Photosmart C4280 works OK for copying & scanning but will not print from a web page intermittently. I've had it uninstalled & reinstalled twice by tech. support in Capetown taking several...

Not quite sure what you mean when you say, "will not print froma web page intermittently". Do you mean it sometimes doesn't print a web page at all or that the print out isn't what you want? Also, there is an additional issue if you are using Microsoft Windows Vista (as opposed to another Windows operating system).

Without more information, the following links to information on HP's web site for your printer is the best I can do:

Printing Web Pages in Vista

Only Parts of Web Pages Print

Unwanted Web Page Backgrounds Print

If one of these works, please post back which one was the correct solution. If not, please post more details about the problem. Thanks.
