Power went out and all lights on phone flash & can't call out

My power went out for a couple of minutes. When it came back on the phone was flashing. I have tried unplugging it again, unplugging all devices and resetting phone outside and then plugging them in one at time. Nothing works. If someone calls me it goes right to me voicemail.

Does the phone come on at all? It could have been a power surge, and could have fried the phone

Norstar Compact ICS -power failure no phones Work! Green LED Light on Module. I have unpluged and repluged. I was going to remove the Truck card and reseat it, but not sure what to try ? Please Help!...

Almost sounds like that one took a direct hit. Try removing the flash program card (with the power off), turn the power back on to the unit for about a min.. power back down, re- insert the flash card and power back up. Hopfully you should get the blinking arrows for about a minute then the display should come back up.

Phone Screen background light is off on Vista 200 and Vista 100

My best solution so far:I power cycled (unplugged the power supply) with the phone line cord unplugged and waited a couple of minutes, repowered and plugged line cord back in.
Light now back ON
I not sure the extent of settings that are retained on a power down. I did have a couple of incoming caller IDs that were still there after powering back up.
There's a better 'manual' than the one that TELUS issued (really I believe that all the branded variants of this phone just came with quad folded instruction card) here at this link:

I I have a cordless GE phone, model #279076E1A. The electric power went off in my house and the digital letters "CL" began flashing on the phone and wouldn't stop flashing after the power went back on. How...

That's telling you to set the clock which has lost time. Manuals are available from GE if you've lost yours. The model number you give is not valid, but here are links for the 27906 and 27907. If neither of these is yours you can pick your model from the list here.

Hope this helps. Thanks for using Fixya!

My intercom button flashed red to green. When I push a line button, I get a two-tone beep but no dial tone. I changed the internal 9 v battery. I unplugged the phone and waited, then plugged it back in....

Each telephone must be connected to line 1 and line 2 for
proper operation. The remaining lines 3 and 4 may — or may not —
be connected to each station as you desire. First plug in the battery, then the phone lines (1 & 2 are mandatory), and third the power cord. If your intercome LED is blinking red and green, then press: STORE IN, followed by "INTERCOM" followed by a free intercom# (i.e., any of the memory buttons 1 through 16 not already assigned to another telephone set). Then wait for the phone to go through its initiation sequence during which it searches each of the four possible lines. After that concludes, you should get dial tone on your active lines. :-) Marco
