Question about Car Video Players

Can't get video with a pyle pld42mu

I have a 2003 f150 and installed this player. It works great except no video. there is a brown wire and directions say wire to parking brake. Do you know where this wire goes? Thanks , Ray

This wire needs to be connected to the positive wire on the E-Break. Or if you would like to not heed the warning on the box about driving with video on you can run it to a positive accessory wire in the ignition fuse box or the (Yellow) accessory wire that is behind your radio.

Pyle override park brake code


You can run the brown wire to a ground and that should work for you. Would you happen to know the importance of the pink wire?

WILL NOT TURN OFF!


yes. the probs you bought a pyle. lol. the speakers were good back in the days but the electronics really suck and thus you get prlike you do BUT it seems like your installation technician did something wrong. once you turn your car off the unit should shut off. its probably hooked up to a negative ground or wrong wire.take it elsewhere before your car burns.
