Question about Routers
How to resolve NO WEB PAGE ISSUE ?
please help me with all the possible trouble shooting
If you are using a windows computer, then do the following:
1. open a command prompt
Windows XP: Click Start Menu -> Run
At the run prompt type "command" (without quotes) and hit enter
2. On the command prompt window, type ipconfig
3. Write down the ip address of the default gateway
(this should be 192.168.1 or something similar)
4. Open up a web browser and type in the ip address from 3
5. You should see your router's web page

The default IP is 192.168.1.1 as he was trying to explain above
