Still not sure what introral is???...but your depth of field.... ( how much of image is in focus)..is dependent on aperture setting ..the higher the number..(smaller the aperture) the more of the image will be in focus at once (front to back).... so set camera to Tv setting for aperture priority..set that number to f8 or above... f11- f16 f22 preferably and shoot away knowing you will get things in focus from close to far away

If this is a EOS 30D, fist I would try is a fresh battery. If that does not help, then it may well be the camera as designed. If it had been brighter now less bright, call Canon for service options:

How to set the Live view setting in Canon eos 30d

Even though there is a screen on the back of the camera the 30D is not capable of "Live View"

You can view your menus and pictures after they have been made not live view.

My canon eos 30d turns off after taking only one picture. i have three charged batteries that i have tried, so i dont think it is the battery. any suggestions?

In your set up menu there is a function that will allow the camera to auto power off. Normally this has several setting from a few seconds to several minutes. My first thought is that this has been altered and the camera has been set to power off in a few seconds.

The CCD camera canon eos 30d is dirty and the technician tells me I can buy a new ccd. This dirt is stuck. It's very noticeable when I take photos in clear sky .. Where sold CCD Camera Canon EOS...

If you have dirt on the sensor, it can be cleaned using special products. If you Google the words "how to clean an SLR sensor", you will find sites that explain the procedure with pictures and places where you can order the supplies needed. This is much less expensive than trying to replace the ccd sensor.

30D locks up and won't take pictures.

are you taking photos of still or moving subjects? One shot is suitable for still subjects, someone sitting down or still life shots. The camera will balk at you if you are constantly panning or have moving items in the fiewfinder field of the focus points and it is set in one-shot mode.
try changing to AI Servo and see if the problem continues.

EOS 30D is slow to fire.

Are you sure you aren't in the delay setting in drive mode? This camera has 2 delay settings, one for 2 seconds between when you press the shutter and when it takes the photo, and one with 10 seconds delay - often used when you want to be in the photo (e.g. self-portrait or group photo).

If you aren't in the delay mode, then I need to know more about your settings. What shooting mode are you using? What type of photo are you trying to take (portrait, landscape, sports)? Are you shooting indoors, outdoors, bright sunlight, overcast, etc.?

Canon AF Issues

Change from auto focus to manual focus or focus using only one focal square and change the setting to One Shot. You may need to shoot in Manual (M) mode though. Any of the "auto" modes will not let you.

Canon 30 D

Sounds like it needs service. You can try resetting the camera to its factory default settings and see if that does anything. On the Setup Menu (wrench and hammer symbol), go to Clear settings, then Clear all camera settings, and select OK. This is covered on page 37 of the manual.
