I just bought my town car a lil over a month ago and everythings been fine....a couple of days ago i notice a coolant leak. i dont know much about cars so excuse my descriptions. it seems to be coming from the front of the engine, underneath. there is a rectangular pan with about 10 bolts in it. it is coming from the front of that.....any clue to what it is?

You have a leaking water pump... there is a "weep" hole at the bottom of it and when the inner seal goes bad it starts slowly leaking out of it as a warning sign to replace it. It will do that for a few days, or months even, until it starts leaking profusely.

I have a 2000 pontiac grand am gt the check vehicle soon light has been on for a couple of month and jus recently the abs and trac off light needless to say i have had little to no problems with my car...

Wow!
The first thing you need to do is fill the coolant up again and take it to a shop that you trust, have them pressurize the coolant system to find the leak, then repair it.
But my fears are that who ever check it for you last saw a head gasket leaking and didn't want to fix it so said nothing,Also if your seeing white smoke behind you that is an engine burning antifreeze.

The coolant level leaks on my 2004 a4, after i just had the hoses and all these other parts changed about two months ago. Could this have something to do with the the oil? What else can i do i h

Check the coolant temperature sensor housing in back of the engine. This is made out of plastic on some model years A4 and eventually leaks coolant.

2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee leaking coolant and power steering fluid

Just a heads up, $10 bucks will buy you a seal kit for the P.S. pump. I topped mine off for a couple months, then the oring on the high pressure line (from pump, front center) blew and dumped the reservoir in a matter of miles.

The line can be a stinker to get off, recommend driving the car for a few minutes to heat up the pump a little. Don't forget the 20MM wrench.

1995 Diamante overheats on hills.

Hi,
The heating up as you build revs, to me, indicates a partially oped thermostat. If it hasn't been replaced, I would do so. It's inexpensive and easy enough to do. Make sure you get a gasket with it.
The rattling thing is another matter. Do you think it is the water pump that is rattling? Does it ever drip from under your engine all the time?
Just curious...
Hope this helps... Good luck!
