Question about Sony Ericsson w580i Cellular Phone
My friend recently bought a 2nd hand w580i and everything works fine, it just wont send/receive calls or texts. the responce says- pin codes protecting your SWIM (wap identity Module) card from unauthorised use. it was purchased with no instruction manual and she needs help lol
Sounds like it is locked. Try your SIM card in the phone. If it still says the same thing, take it in to get unlocked. $25-50 to get it done.
You can also search the net for information on how to do this. Most places will charge for the software/info.
