VOLUME WAS WORKING BEFORE AND KNOW IT'S NOT IT'S NOT MUTED THE VOLUME IS WHERE IT SHOULD BE TRIED EVERYTHING FROM RESETING IT. TO CHECKING IF WAS MUTED TO CHECKING IF THE VOLUME WAS LOWERED BUT IT'S NOT HELP!!!

THats a ANTANNA PROBLEM it sounds like my friend umm check the ant wire that its snugg in the back of the cd player or stereo also go over ur other wiring somthing sounds like its comming loose and makign min Connection Hope it helps

Have you tried the headphone output. If that is working then the FM reciever is working but a problem with the amplifier. If not the the receiver is malfunctioned partially because its getting the video signal but no audio, it has to be repaired only....................sodeep
On the Back of the DVD Player there are probably two blue wires. One is for the amp turn on and the other is the power antenna wire. Whats happening is when you turn the radio on the blue used for the power antenna is trigger and puts out a 12vlt signal to push the power antenna up.. So when you look at your factor car harness..be sure the wires are correct..on one wire is gonna be for the amp turn on and the power antenna. use the amp turn on the to a different wire that is connected to the factory amp. You can get a diagram from your dealership. With the correct wires in the right positon, you will get sound out of your vehicles speakers.
It sounds like the telephone mute wire at the back of the set has got trapped and is shorting to ground and it then mutes the radio, remove the set and look for a trapped tel mute wire and wrap insulation tape around it to prevent it happening again
