Theoretically, you can't format a more than 32 GB drive with FAT/FAT32 file system. In your case you have to choose the NTFS file system to format your 64 GB USB flash drive.
However, if you really need to format it with FAT32, you got to use the command line or a third party tool.
Hope this is going to help you.
Pocket Fuzzies? Get a bright light and look into the USB connector
of the Cruzer. It is possible that there is lint, paper bits, cookei
crumbs, etc in there and that is your problem. The outer 2 connections
of the USB is DATA and the inner two Power. B/C it is able to flash, you
are getting power... but the data lines may be dirty, covered, bent,
Clean it up and try again. Flat toothpick, small ty-wrap or
Proxident (dental/braces) brushes work well for this - DO NOT use
anything Metal!! It will scratch the connectors and vastly shorten
their life (they are GOLD plated)
Short of that, goto HP
site and get their USB format tool (get it here:
http://files.extremeoverclocking.com/file.php?f=197 ) and try
reformatting... if that doesn't work, it is hosed and only I can fix it
so let me know ;-)
