Zanussi 21 in. DCE5655 Free-standing Dishwasher

It fills up with water and all the lights are going off and starts to pump out the water. Durung the draining all controlls including the on/off button do not work and the door too. It kept repeating it. After some unplugging it from the mains a few times and leaving it off for a while now it just drains/pumps water out and no lights are on at all except the power on light. If the on/off button is off the light is off as well and it keeps pumping out water, the same happens if the door is opened.

There is water in the bottom panel which has activated the float switch which overrides everything to stop the room the dishwasher is in from flooding. Remove the panel look for the leak. In my case one of the pipes had come off. There will be a lot of water in the panel so try and drain it first, tip the washer forward over some sort of container to catch the water. In my case I got very wet.

Dishwasher is leaking from leftside if standing in front of

If you get water when it is not running, then it can be the incoming water line. if it leaks durung running mode then It can come from bad seal on the door, look and see if i has any built up at the bottom seal, or from the pump shaft seals.
By the way, there is no drum in dishwasher machine.

The power is on the cycle light is on but on the right the first two lights are flashing together. help zanussi aqua pulse de 6744 s

Hi, the first thing the dishwasher does is fill with water, so this sounds like a Anti Flood water pump problem this is just behind the water pipe that feeds the clean water into your machine, one thing to check is if the machine is empty of water at the moment, if the machine has water in the bottom then it could be the Drain Pump.

Got a zanussi dishwasher zsf6160, lights working but none of the programmes are starting, not taking in any water?

if you can here the drain pump run at the start the fault is with the water valve or blockage in the side tank on the lh side. if you dont here the drain pump it possibly the heater thats down to earth. the electronics can detact it and not start the prog if heater faulty.

I have a Zanussi DE6850 free-standing dishwasher. Have just put on a 65 degree programme. After approximately 1 minute the machine has stopped functioning and the top two lights are flashing and water...

You seem to have a blockage, have you checked the filters lately. Also check the drain hose and the pipe that the drain hose goes into,if they are clear then the blockage is down in the bottom of the dishwasher in the pipes or the drain pump.

Hope this helps.

There is usually a float switch inside the DW body. Usually a polystyrene lump. This may be stuck in the up position, or a pool of water may still exist within the case.

When you say trips the electric - is this your wall MCB or ELCB ? If it is that then there is a major electrical fault on this machine that needs investigation.

Zanussi da4342 dishwasher

The dishwasher should heat the water to about 55 C as the heating cycle starts. In these cycle, the dishwasher pauses after has filled with water and wait for the water to reach the temperature. If the water isn't being heated (because of a problem with the heating element or thermostat), after the unit stops at the heating cycle, it never continues.
Another possible reason is that the timer unit is defective. If you have observed anything different post a comment.
