My machine will not spin.

The machine will agitate in the permanent press cycle. From there it just stops. It will not spin in any setting.

Check your lid switch assy should hear a "clicking noise" when the lid is raised and lowered, if not theres your issue. the unit thinks the lid is up and therefore will not spin/drain for safety reasons

In the permanent press cycle only the spin cycle isn't spinning enough. Clothes are extremely wet must run another spin to get out the water.

Thts right....the permanent press cycle my only spin at 600rpm because the clothes would be creased otherwise. Hence the PP cycle.
Some machines lock the PP cycle to low spin RPM. Some allow you to over ride this setting. Check your machine and have a play with the controls. Some PP clothing should even be drip dry to retain the premanent press in the garment. If you want PP then low spin is needed. fast spin will not be a PP cycle...

Will agitate, but won't drain or spin. Control timer seems to stop at that point of the cycle.

Sounds like a bad timer to me. Try a different cycle like permanent press or any other cycle to see if you have the same problem

can you get it to start by moving the timer one more click past the beginning of the cycle? Sometimes that is all that is wrong. Other than that, it's more than likely the timer has fused some of the points together and you will need a new timer in that case

Washer keeps filling w/ water, only stops when changed to spin

Your drain line is too low.
OR the drain line is restricting air where it enters the drain stand pipe.
Remove the drain line and hold it up high.
Turn the washer on to fill. It should fill then stop.
This example should explain what you must do to correct the drain line problem.

Soon as i set cycle and swich on door light flashes open

hi,
The cycle doesn't advance
When the cycle doesn't advance, it's probably the timer or a cold-water supply problem:

It's the timer, if your washing machine fills with water and begins agitating, but the timer never advances--or if the washer is in a spin cycle and the timer won't advance. Then you need to replace the timer.

It may be a cold-water supply problem, if the washing machine fills with water, agitates, drains, and spins, but then doesn't fill with rinse water. See There's no cold water.

Thanks for your question.
