I have a Mr. Coffee, Model JWX20 with no instructions. I would like to set it so that it will come on in the morning and brew coffee before I wake up. I can't find a manual. Does anyone know how...

Set the Clock: 1. Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet . The clock will flash on the control panel to indicate that the time has not been set yet. 2. Press and hold the HOUR and MINUTE buttons until you reach the current time. The AM or PM indicator will light a t the bottom of the display The clock is now set! NOTE: Pressing any button before setting the clock will cause the clock to start keeping time from 12:00 a.m. You must set the clock if you want to use the Delay Brew feature. To Set the Delay Brew Time: *While the display is in the clock mode, simply press the SET DELAY button and, while the DELAY BREW time is flashing, set the brew time by pressing the HOUR and MINUTE but tons. *The AM or PM indicator will light at the bottom of the clock display. *Within a few seconds the display will change to the current time. Magnavox MDR537H/F7 -- DEAD no power

There is usually an internal fuse in all audio/video equipment and it will normally be a 20mm glass one positioned near the power supply or somewher close on the circuit board. There may be more than one so have a good check around. Be sure to replace with the same type and rating, no sticking kitchen foil across it to short it out, this illegal and DANGEROUS.

HOW DO YOU SET THE CLOCK ON THE DEP-P4000UB

STEP ONE (PRELIMINARY): With the key in the ignition, turn the ignition to ACC (accessory power) or this can be done while the vehicle is running. If unit remains off, proceed to the next step, but if unit is already powered on, power it down by pressing [Source] until it goes off. (Then, proceed to the next step.)

STEP TWO: Press MULT-CONTROL & hold until CLOCK SET displays. (To cancel at any time, press [Band/ESC]. Press [Back] to return to previous display.)

Set clock on sd-kv550-su

Hi there,

There are two ways to set the clock on your machine, firstly by using the 'auto clock' feature and also a manual setup, if the auto setup doesn't work then you will need to setup your machine manually. the 'auto clock' feature will atempt set itself up and will take approx 4 mins for the machine to adjust itself. There is also a daylight saving setting which you can either have set to on or off. The auto and manual steps that I have added below have been taken from the user manual for your your Toshiba SD-V295 pages 24 - 26.

Hope this helps,

James

Auto Clock Adjustment
Preparation:
• Turn ON the TV and select the corresponding video input.
• Press VCR DVD selector to select the VCR mode.
(The VCR mode indicator will light.)
1. Connect the Antenna or Cable system.
If you use a cable box, turn it on.
2. Plug the AC power cord to the AC outlet.
3. Make sure the DVD/VCR is turned off.
If you press POWER, the Auto Clock set is not programmed.
4. Wait at least three minutes and press POWER.
5. Press CALL DISPLAY to check the clock setting on the on screen display.
6. If the clock is not set, check the antenna
condition. The AUTO CLOCK may not function properly if the reception condition
is not good.

Manual clock setting
1. Press VCR MENU.
2. Press SET + or – to select “SYSTEM SETUP”, then press ENTER.
3. Press SET + or – to select “CLOCK SET”, then press ENTER.
4. Press SET + or – to set the month, then press ENTER.
5. Set the day, year and time as in step 4.
6. After setting the clock, date and time starts functioning automatically

Setting clock on older VRDVD4001AC

According to the manual, to set the standard time, you should press VCR MENU, then SET + OR - to select System Setup. Press ENTER. Press SET+ OR - again and then choose STANDARD TIME followed by ENTER to set your own time zone. Press SET + OR - one more time to select your time zone, and then again press ENTER. To return, press VCR MENU twice.

Just a note: The unit is set to AUTO CLOCK when it is shipped. If you leave it this way, the clock will set itself after you plug in the unit provided you do not press POWER for at least three minutes when you first plug it in. Also, your cable box or antenna must be attached in order for it to find the time.

Hdd error

try replacing the red sata cable which runs from the HDD under the DVD drive to the main board on the right-hand side. these are a common problem on these models, there cheap and unreliable. you can purchase a better quality cable from a computer store for little money. HDD ERROR is'nt necessery an HDD fault as i found out with my rdr-hx525. if however the HDD is faulty and you buy a replacement, once installed you will need to pair the new HDD with the unit by entering the service mode by unplugging the AC then while holding down open/close and play together then re-insert the AC lead while still holding open/close and play and wait until you see an "S" in the display then let go and the service mode will appear on the tv screen. go to no.9 HDD mode, press enter then go to no.3 Write ID then it will say "execute write ID?" yes and press enter and then it will say "writing HDD serial ID.... OK" once this is done, exit the service mode by keeping your finger on the power button for approx 10secs. your DVD recorder should now recognise the new HDD. if you don't follow this process, you will still have an HDD error message as your DVD recorder will have your old HDD installed and won't recognise your new one. given the amount of time since you posted this fault, you may still have the unit in question in which case i hope this solution is helpful, or for anyone else with the same problem.

Dvd eject button does not respond

Had a similar problem after loading a suspect dvd (one I had buned myself) Could not do anything - stuck at loading.
Try this :
  1. Unplug and wait 10 seconds
  2. plug it back in and wait 1 minute. DO NOT PRESS ANY BUTTONS!
  3. With the machine still in the standby state, press eject on the REMOTE. It should eject without trying to read the disk.

Good luck. It worked for me.
