I have installed my unit, checked all connections, accessed the brake override per the hidden menu code, and connected a rear display.

The rear display shows everything perfectly. The unit screen shows only white.

Anyone got a suggestion or is it a defective unit?

Sounds to be defective. All white is not normal under any conditions.

Unit was defective, I returned it for another and it works perfect.
