Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
I had the same problem i would put games and stuff in and it would not load so i just tapped the top of the xbox above the disc tray while it was trying to read it and it finally read and has been fine since i recommend putting a disc in that you dont really care about just in case it gets scratched

Ok i got it to work, the solution is very technical so read carefully, lift front of console up about 2 inches from surface and drop,it worked for me.

I have had this happen about 3 times. The first time was when i figured out how to fix it. The 2nd and 3rd were temporary.(Just needed to be turned off for a moment) You need to shut the console off for atleast 15 minutes 10 at the lowest with everthing unplugged. I mean the hard drive, memory unit, and all cables, and adapters. Then after 10-15 minutes plug everything in and DON'T PRESS the BUTTONS ON THE XBOX OR THE CONTROLLERS. Press the button to open the tray and take out the game or dvd and put in a different one. If this doesn't work do it all over again and then put in a different game or dvd not the previous ones and turn on the console the same but then a soon as you get the disc in and closed in shut it off then open the tray and wait till you are at the main menu go into any program so you can't see it is reading and close the tray. If that doesn't work contact the xbox support line. Really hope this works for you.

I learned this from a Youtube video and this did the trick for me. Hopefully, it will solve it for your X-Box 360 too! 1. Put disc into X-Box 360. 2. Turn X-Box 360 off. 3. Open tray. 4. Take disc out. 5. Slam Tray 6. Turn off X-Box 360 (Immediately after slamming the tray shut) 7. Turn on X-Box 360 7. Hopefully, it will work this time!
