I recently brought a samsung yp-p2 and i have some problems: the most important: i just can't upload files on it, because the samsung media studio(SMS) doesn't "see"it. i can't click on the "portable" icon. 2: i used the bluetooth to transfer files from my phone to my p2, and it worked properly. bu please, notice the past tense. it worked. it doesn't work anymore. it's like" impossible to connect" or somethin' like that.. 3: after i sent some music into my p2, 126 melodies (out of 313) didn't have a... name... i can play them, but i don't see their name. 4: i just don't know how to delete files from my p2 without using a computer..
so can you help me please??/ (excuse my english, im from another cuntry...)
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need. goodluck!

ATM im having alot of problems with videos on my P2, originally when i first bought it, i am pretty sure it played almost every format, MP4 to flv, but not for sum unknown reason it doesnt, and even the software emodio, (which is ****) wont even recognise these videos and when it does it doesnt even transfer into the emodio library. Really ticking me off. P2=great but there is a few teething problems that you dont get with ipods.
Put the files on the root of the P2's folder. Unplug the P2. Leave it off for 2 mins, and power up. Now, if this does not work, you probably need a config.dat file which you copy with the 2 firmware files onto your P2.
Open notepad write:
YP-P2 XX XX UMS
Replace XX XX with the 2 letters in front of your P2's firmware (Settings>System>about). Example: EU EU UMS
Plug in the P2. Right click on START and click explore. Go to my computer and find something about P2 like portable media device, of samsung, of P2 etc. click on it. A new window should pop up. click internal storage. Go to pictures folder and highlight the ones you want to delete. While holding the left button right click. Click delete. Done. :)
It is possible to download text files onto the Samsung Yp-P2.
You can use the Samsung Media Studio to download the document onto the device. The only format I know works for sure is *.txt, haven't tried other formats
