Brand new Panasonic SCPT467EB Home Theater and need an ''ALL'' Code

Just purchased an home theater and when I installed it my dvd's from the far east would not play and then I discovered that I need to set the regional code to ALL or zero. any help would be great as I do not want to send the unit back as it has all of the functions that I need but I was un-aware of the code problem.

Many thanks

Margaret

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

To my knowledge, Panasonic brands are designed not to be region free. There are no known methods of bypassing their locks. It is firmware based. Sorry.

Just a start, do postback how things turned up or should you need additional information. Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa.

Hi,
As you said you purchased this recently,Therefor, Contact your vender or nearest possible Authorised service centre for the solution.Probebly it must be cover in-warranty.PLz dont do any thing by yourself bc if u do something with it the warranty would not consider valid. They must solve the problem by the company end with zero charges.

Hope you will understand my saying.
Thanks

Can i connect dmp-bd871 to a home theater system

It will depend on your home theater system and TV. If your system accepts HDMI in from other devices and HDMI out to the TV, connect an HDMI cable from the blue-ray player to an HDMI input on home theater system. Then connect another HDMI cable between the home theater system and the TV. This will provide the best video and audio experience.

Another option is connect the HDMI cable from the Blue-ray player to the TV. Connect the audio output of the TV to the home theater system. (This will depend on the TV as well as the home theater system. Some TVs have digital audio outputs; others have analog outputs. If your home theater system doesn't have the same input as the TV's output, you would need a converter as well as the digital and analog audio cables. This is an example of one for digital to analog: http://www.gefen.com/kvm/dproduct.jsp?prod_id=4907 .)

If you do not want to get the best picture from the Blue-ray player and your home theater system has analog audio inputs, you can connect the composite video out to the TV. Then connect the audio outputs from the player to your home theater system. (This means only an SD picture will be provided to your TV.)

Panasonic has the manual for the DMP-BD871 here: service.us.panasonic.com/OPERMANPDF/DMPBD871-MUL.PDF .

I hope this helps. Please add a comment with the other devices in your entertainment system or their inputs/outputs. Then I can add specific information for your system and any tips for setting up the system.

Dvd s58 how to make it multy zone

hi,
To make your dvd player region free ,you also need a pansonic tv's or home theater's remote. Do the following with the two remote to make you player region free.

The new Panasonic DVD players DVD-S38 & DVD-S58 have a different way of being multizoned. An extra Panasonic remote is required ie: from TV or home theater:
Power On, Tray Open.
Using remote control included press: Audio, 1, 9, 8, 2. Press Subtitle.
Using another Panasonic remote press Pause.
On the remote included, press 0.
'On' will be displayed on the unit.
ok

I am trying to find an update driver for my Panasonic DVD Home Cinema SC-PT450-K Can you help? Plus how o I upload a DVD player with these drivers?

Hello

According to panasonic they dont make a pt450 but they do make a 480, so I assume this will get you close enough.

here is the driver site

http://www2.panasonic.com/consumer-electronics/support/Audio/Home-Theater/Home-Theater-Systems/Drivers-Downloads/model.SC-PT480.D#ts

Best of luck
PS you can also download the manual too, and that will give you all the directions.
