Question about Bernina Virtuosa 150
I have a Bernina 153 QE and it was running great, until....I went to change the bobbin and the "bobbin assembly" came out once I got the whole assembly in place, I went to sew. Although my machine lights up and appears to have power the foot pedal won't make the machine run. I was told to check the bobbiin winder and that seems to be in the "off" position, so I don't know what else to check. I have double checked and the foot pedal cord is plugged into the machine. Any suggestions would be helpful.
There is no way to change brushes on theses sealed motors and I highly doubt thats the issue. Most likely you didn't put the bobbinwinder back togeather correctly. The small spring type clip under it needs to be in the second notch of the teeth below the bobbinwinder to engage/disengage right. If you had the cover off its also possible you disconnected the wire to the circuitboard for the footcontrol, I beleive its black and red. Probably best for a tech to look at it.
