Question about Frigidaire 30" Self-Cleaning Freestanding Electric Range - White-on-White

Self-cleaning heat stains on the front facing panel

I have the Frigidaire self-cleaning white-on-white oven. I like it and have not had any trouble with the door, broiler, clock, etc. However, the last TWO times I used the self cleaning cycle ( I always do the 2 hr) the front panel gets brown heat stains on the enamel right outside of where the vents are. Nothing takes them off. So now the front of my stove has these two carmel colored streaks on the outside.
Help! Has anyone else had this happen? I line the bottom of my stove with Aluminum foil and my oven is very clean. I really wouldn't even have to use the cycle. I am a neat freak so my oven is not gross. The glass on the front is stained also. Do I have to take the door apart to clean that? Thanks for your help and reply!!

I have the same exact problem - it had never happened until we used the self cleaning cycle recently. There must be some way to get this off.

Oven not heating!

Hi Michelle,
I understand you are having trouble with your oven not heating. Based on the little bit of information provided I could suggest the following. If you are having problems with the individual bake or broil then it is likely that the single element is the problem. However, if you find that neither element is heating then electrical connection could be causing the oven to not heat.

Best Regards,

The oven door wont release after self cleaning

Check to see if a spill has glued the door shut from the heat of the cleaning. Remove it with oven cleaner. Some devices have a timer that waits for a while before releasing the door. I had a front load washer that did that, very exasperating.

We had the same thing happen and now they came and said it was the clock that needs to be replaced. They said that controls the oven. Even though clock is on and working the function for turning on the oven is not

Oven wont heat

This may be a control panel issue. i would also check the glow ignition as well , assuming it is a gas range.

Frigidaire oven overheating

I would say that the oven thermostat is malfunctioning, and you will probably need a new one fitting.
Make sure the sensor inside the oven has not become detached, as this will make a differance.
Plz leave feedback.
