Controller all of a sudden will not turn on for more than 1 sec.
One day I go to turn my controller on and it does not work so I try again and it still does not work so I think that it is the battery pack . Later the next day I found out by switching the battery packs that it is not the battery pack . Now today I think that the problem is inside of the controller .I would like to know what the problem really is.
P.S. I do not believe that I nor anybody else had thrown or dropped my controller from an unsafe distance . From, Da Bea$t
im having the same problem my controller just stop working and the green light just stays flashing.

are you trying to get to the safe mode menu?...if so unplug for 1 minute...replug...hold power button (beep) 5 secs next beep is 1...next beep is 2 after 5 secs and power off. let go of button...repush power button(hold)...(beep)...then beep again after 5 secs...then 2 fast beeps...let go of power button. it will ask you to connect your USB to your controller then push the PS button on your controller. you should be in the menu for safe mode.(research your options there thru sony and understand what they are first before running them!)
I had this exact same issue the other day. Changing the batteries did not work for me, but don't cross that off of the list quite yet. This worked for me:
1.) Pop the battery pack off of the controller. This is the only way you're going to be able to turn it off. Wait about 5 seconds and put the battery pack back into the controller.
2.) Turn on your X-Box with the power button ON THE CONSOLE. It should turn ON. If it doesn't, unplug the X-Box for 30 seconds, plug it back in, and try again.
3.) When your X-Box turns on, go ahead and hit the controller's power button. Things should function normally from this point forward.
Please let me know if this works for you!

if you have some sort of cable with which you can connect your controller to your console, it is best you try use it. if you don't, here is what you would do. 1.switch off the console and all it's controllers. 2.differentiate between the two controllers.maybe tag them controller a and b 3.turn on the console again and switch on controller a first, wait and see if it synchronizes properly. 4.turn off controller a and switch on controller b and see if it synchronizes with your console properly. 5.if they both work separately, turn everything off and switch on again and try to use both controllers at the same time. 6.if it repeats the same thing, switch only one controller on and then when you turn on the other one, press the small button in front of the controller close to the right trigger button and also press a button that looks similar to it on the console. this should help you synchronize all the controllers.
This is a processor error. There is no way to get to the restore screen when you have the yellow light issue. Try CPR in NYC. They usually have a 1-3 day turnaround time, and are pretty cost effective. You can easily ship them your unit. They are faster and cheaper than Sony!

Hope it helps!
So the sytem is working but the controller isn't connecting? Try fresh batteries, try removing things that might interfere with the controller (cell phones, large metal things between the controller and the xbox, portable house phones, bluetooth devices), try another controller if possible (borrow one).
