Controller all of a sudden will not turn on for more than 1 sec.
One day I go to turn my controller on and it does not work so I try again and it still does not work so I think that it is the battery pack . Later the next day I found out by switching the battery packs that it is not the battery pack . Now today I think that the problem is inside of the controller .I would like to know what the problem really is.
P.S. I do not believe that I nor anybody else had thrown or dropped my controller from an unsafe distance . From, Da Bea$t
im having the same problem my controller just stop working and the green light just stays flashing.

But if the controller really isn't connected anyways, you have to:
1: Turn on controller, and hold the sync button ( just to the right of the Left Bumper ).
2: Press the Sync button on the Xbox 360 > Slim version: Sync button is placed just beside the usbports on the front of the xbox. > Original version: The sync button is placed just beside Memory Slot B ( looks pretty much as the one on the xbox controller.
3: The controller should connect and sync automaticly to your Xbox 360.
Rechargeable batteries will only hold so many charges before they finally die. The controller should be fine, but your battery pack has finally died. You can get new rechargeable packs on Amazon pretty cheap, but don't buy any that seem too good to be true (like the $0.01 ones) because they are old inventory and have lost the ability to charge as well.
I think they run about $15-$20 for a new one, but it's still a better deal than needing new batteries every time your controller dies since the rechargeable ones can last for at least a couple years.
Although Datel has been notorious for making garbage products, I'll say this. Usually it depends on the game that you're playing. For example most people buy turbos for Call of Duty games. Knowing this, Call of Duty as implemented a kind of coding in their games that limits some of the functionality of turbos to make it more fair to people without them. So it could be the game, or the controller could just be downright faulty, which wouldn't surprise me either.
Hope it helps!
Remove your log in pass code. I understand that it is nice to have in case others try to log into your system, but that is the problem here. The guitar is sending different signals than the controller is for what ever reason. I would suggest at least trying this without a pass code to see if that fixes the issue. It should just be an issue of mixed signals. If you're able to sign in with the controller, then the pass code has to be the issue. Best of luck to you.
When you pulled the controller, and the Xbox made the "weird noise" it was probably caused by the game sliding out of the tray. This can happen when a disk is spinning in the console and the console suddenly jerks in any direction.
you have to press the connection buttons, one on the controller and one on the xbox 360, the one on the controller is located on top by the triggers next to the cartridge insert port right by the left button, it has 3 wavy lines next to it, when you press it, the controller will light up and go in circles. After that quickly press the button on the xbox 360 located under memory unit A, to the left of the disc eject, then the xbox 360 lights will go in a circle then automatically connect. If it doesnt work at first, try it again, but quicker.
try turning on your xbox and try holding the little botton on top of the controller and then bring it close to your xbox and press the little button on the faceplate beside the where the 2nd slot for the memory unit is and hold that down while also pressing the one on your controller and wait for it to connect. hope this works
