Question about Neff 24 in. S5543X2 Built-in Dishwasher
The dishwasher is retaining dirty water. This problem came on suddenly. I have no idea how to take this machine apart, to check hoses and such. My dishes seem to be getting rinsed with the dirty water (yuck) and no water is being dispensed into my sink. This is the stand alone kind, that you connect to your faucet. Any help please, Thanksgiving is coming, and with it many dirty dishes!!
Do you hear the pump that should remove the water? It could be a bad pump..

I would not recomment putting chemicals in the dishwasher. There is usually some kind of filter in the bottomt at you can easily take out and clean. It's common to have parts of labels and plastic clog this up.
Try removing and cleaning this first. It may also be reached from a separate hatch in the fronc of your dishwasher, depending on the make and model. Just make sure it's securly back in place before you start it afterwards, or you may flood your kitchen.
You may also try to disconnect the hose and blow through it to see if you may be able to blow back any objects stuck there.
If none of this helps your problem may be in the pump, and then it's usually a job for professionals.

I had this problem too, I found a brilliant solution on a website, that worked, just put some towels on the floor and tip the dishwasher towards you, let the water run out and it will work again.............brilliant !!!!!

SOURCE: chalky dishes in dishwasher
the problem is hard water. this is a new product out called the dishwasher filtration system and it actually filters the water going into the dishwasher. i tried everything to get my dishes clean but nothing worked until i tried this system. my glasses all had a white, cloudy look to them and it was terrible. you can get it at www.dishwasherfilter.com. it is very affordable and works amazing. the filter fits right under the sink and solves the problem immediately. if you use the discount code DFMTEN you will get 10% off

check filter or drain hose it probably have a dirt, try to fill with water manually and turn on pump to dispossess water,if water not go out and pump work then you have dirt in hose or filter,if pump not work then pump is broken.
