The Prostar 816 wasn't capable of an external transfer of lines so its my guess that your using call forwarding through centrex to accomplish the job. i.e. *72 dial the number you wish to transfer to wait for an answer and hang up. *73 would be the disable code for call forward but is done by the line that originated the call. The only way i could see around that is to have ultra call forwarding on the line so it can be established and terminated remotely.
If i'm missing the mark please let me know

Actually it's your telephone company forwarding the calls. With many phone companies, you dial *73 on your home phone to cancel the call forwarding. If that doesn't do it, contact your telephone company for their instructions regarding call forwarding.

When call fowarding what is a destination station?

The destination station is the number to which you want the calls forwarded.
Call forwarding redirects (or forwards) calls to your phone to another phone. This other phone is the destination.

How do i enable call forwarding from my vtech phone to my cell phone

Hello! You can turn on call forwarding by pressing 72# then wait until you hear the two tones and dial your number that you wish to send the calls to and then hang up the phone. The two tones signal that it has understood your command and is putting the line into forward mode.

To turn off cal fowarding, press 73# and wait again for the two tones and hang up.

How do i forward my office calls to my cell phone

Go into programming, set #322, and your extension to have permissions for forwarding.
Then, set your cell number as a speed dial at your extension. Feature 00, then feature 80 and enter the number as you would dial it from your extension.

then press a button with lights, and press feature 11xx80. where xx is your extensoin number.
When done, press feature 00 to get out of programming.

To activate, press the button you programmed the forwarding on., then the green light will come on. To un forward, press the button again.

Sound issues with Forwarded calls to cell

Are you using a PRI, or POTS lines?

Probably pots lines, as this is a common occurance when forwarding out over pots lines.

Basically you are doing an unsupervised conference call when you forward to cell.

To prove the lines in the office are the problem, set up a conference call. If the 2 remote people can not hear each other the same as you describe in your forwarding, then it is the POTS lines.

The problem is, no one is going to be able to do anything about it. If this is an important feature, then you may want to look at a new system that can have different line types and then this isnt a problem.

Call fordwarding

I forward my office phone by dialing 72# and the number.

Your office phone may be on a system that did the forwarding, or you may have to CANCEL call forwarding (73#) before you can set it.
