I need a replacement power supply for Sportcraft Arcade Hoops. Existing AC Adapter is model MW35-0750350

The adapter model number doesn't matter.
You need the output volts, AC or DC and the current (mA) off the existing adapter. You also need to match the input voltage for where you live, either about ~115v or about ~230V.
The last thing you need to match is the proper connector for the game and if DC the proper polarity.
If it's DC the easiest way is to go to a local store and get a universal adapter that can set multiple voltages, has multiple connectors and can possibly set both polarities. Just get one rated at equivalent or slightly more current than the old one. If you have to purchase one with significantly more current, you may need to set the voltage a little lower.

There's no sound with my STR-V555ES 5.1 channels and there is protector in display

It is possible that the amplifier had encountered a fault with a higher current drain which had triggered it to a protection fault condition. The fault can be with your output drivers. Please check for short on the outputs fitted for both the channels. Use a meter after disconnecting to check for short in the drivers. Disconnect the positive and negative voltages to the output and see if the protect changes. Even a fault in the preamp stages that drives in high current into the output can shut the Amplifier. Sometimes this can be a noise which can be a HUM or HISS before the protect works. Faulty capacitors in these circuits also can cause similar issues and needs close observation. You need to confirm and replace the specific stages or outputs. If not there can be issues in the mother board. Maybe the protect circuit by itself is shutting off due to a faulty bias or there is a leak in any voltage/current sensing circuit. Also disconnect the speakers and test, if the amplifier comes out of the protect mode then check for short on the speakers.

I cant turn up the volume of my str-dh820 receiver everytime i do it turn off?? what do i do?

It is possible that the amplifier had encountered a fault with a higher current drain which had triggered it to a protection fault condition. This can be due to the fact that the amp does no get sufficient power and so the output is starved to shut down. So please check the mains voltage or use a stabiliser. Also a faulty speaker can make the amp to shut as the outputs drain too much currrent.

Even a fault in the preamp stages that drives in high current into the output can shut the Amplifier. Sometimes this can be a noise like a HUM or HISS before the protect works. Faulty capacitors in these circuits also can cause similar issues and needs close observation.
You need to confirm and replace the specific stages or outputs. If you have a digital tester or analog try to check the voltage reading from the power supply if high or low or no supply.Check first following voltage location and section. * Check the AC voltage from ac cord to fuse and before the bridge type diode. * Check the DC voltage after the bridge type diode.if normal voltage. * Then check the voltage into the filter capacitor to regulator ic.the power ic.If theres a input voltage in the power ic,check the output voltage going to harizontal output. If no output the problem is you power output. You need to replace it.

Sony receiver STR D635 goes to ''protect''mode

Does the set work for the 10 secs. If not you have the protection due to a voltage/current drain in the circuit. The protect works to prevent any further damage to the amp and is a safety feature. To look into the fault it is important to have an idea to go about. Disconnect the speakers and check if the fault changes, if so check your speakers for short and replace them or the coils. If not the output of the amplifer can be faulty. check in the output stages with a multimeter for failure of any biasing resisitors that can also drain more current. If you are not familiar get help. The failed component can be replaced after disconnection and testing. Hope my advice helps. Good day

Receiver str-v444es no sound on headphones or

discharge the output circuit! If you don't you will blow a 10 ohm resistor every time. I've worked on hundreds of these receivers I know. They need the output circuit soldered at the voltage driver ic's and quite possibly some capicitors replaced on the digital board. The caps mounted near the heat sinks dry up the fastest. These are nice amps. Larry's Electronics Sacramento Ca. ledstiles@hotmail.com

pls. open H-output trangister and out side of pcb and check voltage B+ 135v dc is ok ?.
if yes.then ...H-OUTPUT trangister checked and replace
if not then check SMPS .
1.fuse
2.STR
3.output Dyode
check
1st fuse is open then check rectifier dyode cantunity. if sort then replace all 4 dyode.(rectifier)
and if dyode is ok .then check STR cantunity is sort then Replace with New STR but 1st 220uf/450v dc capaciter cheked / 2nd. in SMPS stage any P.F and capciter likage or sort cheked or chenged first after the NEW STR use
*. note: smps pcb checkd any dry canaction pls. Resolder first.

Ac adapter

If I understand your description correctly, you have two TVs that use the same model adapter, and both adapters have failed. In that case, I would suspect a weak design, or you may have put them in some place where they were overheated or zapped by power line surges. If it appears to be a design problem, you may want to consider using a substitute.

The adapter should have the output voltage and current marked on it, for example, 12VDC 2300mA would be a 12 Volt, 2.3 Amp output. The polarity is usually marked with a diagram showing whether the center in or hole in the plug is positive or negative.

You can use an adapter with the same voltage and plug style (including polarity) and the same or greater current output. If you find one with the right voltage and current, but the wrong plug, you may be able to change the plug. Just be absolutely certain you have the wires going to the correct terminals; reversing the polarity could damage or destroy your TV. Do a proper solder job on it; simply stripping the wires and twisting them on will not be reliable.

Sources for adapters include www.jameco.com and www.mouser.com.
