Vfd sj300 inverter looks like hitachi make inverter. if thats the case give me a mail for drgs.

When i turn on the drive it display it display code for ground fault. my wiring are correct. And i cannot use keypad of drive. how can i resolve the fault .


why cant you use the keypad/'display of drive, is it not lit up ? if so you most likely have a grounded phase on the load side (motor) I suggest disconnecting motor completely and measuring to ground with a high voltage tester (megger) if you have a phase to ground then all the power that drive puts on that wire will shunt to ground , causing infinite current , this will affect the power supply of drive and not allow drive to even power up correctly
also you failed to mention if motor was 3 phase if so , some drives require installer to remove shunt jumpers (see install directions) this will "Lift" the surge suppresors off earth ground and over to "virtual" ground that occurs at center of three phase power , this might be seen as a ground fault if this is not done correctly

Problem With Eaton 9000x VFD drive. All voltages are good. Cannot get drive to activate motor.


Check the windings of the motor at the VFD output. Start by killing power to the VFD. Next, check for voltage on L1, L2 & L3 and U, V & W line to line & line to ground. If all indicate zero, connect an ohm meter from U to V, then V to W and finally W to U. You should see a very low resistance - single digit ohms. They should all be the same value. If that check so out, test from ground to: U, then to V and finally W. This should indicate a very high resistance - 1 meg ohm or more. Do NOT attempt to use a megger to measure ground to U Vand W while connected to the VFD terminals! Low numbers indicate that the insulation on the windings inside the motor are breaking down, and some current is flowing in the ground wire which is dangerous. If all these checks are ok, the likelihood of the motor being to problem is minimal. You should be able to start / run the motor without damage to it at full line voltage - assuming it can start the load at full speed - and that the load can be safely started at full speed. If no to those questions - you should decouple the motor from the load before proceeding. Next, try running the motor "across the line". Many VFD provide such an option and call this "bypass mode" or sometimes "Manual"

Doing this will cause the motor to appear across the *full line voltage* and the motor will attempt to come up to 100% speed *as fast* as it possibly can. If the motor starts & runs, the issue is related to the VFD itself. You may have a loose control wiring, open input / output fuses, etc.

Thermal overload occurs


I too am experiencing an "oc2" on my gvx1000-1.5-t unit after replacing original motor with near identical, however, relacement motor is rated for 60hz and the vfd is programmed for 50hz. but I don't have a manual nor does my machine manufacturer, so I'm trying to source a manual to alter the vfd parameters for the new motor. My original problem was a locked shaft on the original motor and caused the oc2 fault, but I bent the shaft trying to break the motor flange free and now my spare won't work either :-(. Try removing the load from your unit and see if you still get a fault, if so, you probabley have an enternal problem with the vfd. if by removing the load you don't get a fault, check for anything seized in the drive components, including the motor shaft itself(bad bearings will do it!). An amp test of your load, if it runs long enough to test, will tell you if you're exeeding the vfd's programmed full/max amp set point. Adjust the set point or remove the cause of the excessive amp pull. Good luck. Wouldn't happen to have a manual on the unit I'm looking for, would you?

extend your red and yellow wires straight to positive battery terminal and the black to the negitive . the rest is speaker wire that you trace by looking at what is connected to each speaker.

Power but no display to unit


Not sure about the Neff brand, but in general you'd want to check for 110VAC power on the primary side of the low voltage transformer on the control panel / board. If that is present, check the secondary for voltage, about 12-30VAC. If the unit has a VFD type display, there will be a heater filament supply, usually around 2.5-6VAC. Also look for bad connecitons on the VFD. If those voltages are present, check connections on the board, look for bloated / bulging capacitors, shorted diodes, breaks in the board, etc. Also look for thermal cutouts and thermostats. If this doesn't fix it, can you take several photos of the inner parts and circuit boards?
